The Heart Chakra Workshop
This workshop is the fourth workshop of a monthly series and will focus on the heart chakra to bring you back to a state of love, kindness, gratitude, compassion and unconditional love.
The heart chakra is related to the air element. It governs the thymus gland, our heart, our lungs. It the bridge between the lower three chakras (where many of us remain stuck) and the upper three chakras (which help us connect on a deeper level).
In Sanskrit, “anahata” means ‘infinite’, ‘unhurt’ or ‘boundless’. Working with the air element and balancing the heart chakra will help you to build a strong sense feeling abundant, loved and infinite.
You can still attend this workshop if you didn't attend the others.
The workshop includes:
Introduction to the Heart chakra
Kundalini bioenergetic breathwork practice
Rest, restore and integrate with a heart chakra themed sound bath to pure crystal quartz singing bowls, koshi chimes, tuning forks and more.
What you will need:
- Yoga Mat
- Blanket
- Eye mask
- Journal
- Cushion
What is Kundalini Bioenergetic Breathwork?
We all have a bioenergetic field which refers to the electromagnetic field of the human body. This is otherwise known as our aura. We are all energy and all living systems are made of energy.
There are 7 primary chakras (energy centres) that run up our spine and there are also 7 layers of the aura known as the biofield. The two intertwine. Tuning forks, reiki and other modalities can greatly impact this biofield, but did you know that breath can too?
Why is it important to look after our biofield?
Living in the modern world of the last 150 years has brought about more stress on the human bioenergetic field. The field is dampened by environmental pollutants, toxic chemicals, electromagnetic radiation, stress, traumas etc. This can create dissonance in our cells. Bioresonance is based on the principle that unhealthy cells emit altered electromagnetic waves from DNA damage. This is why people feel so much better in the country away from the city environments because the body gets to return to its natural vibrational frequency, which is in harmony with mother nature.
But we don't all live in the country and environmental pollutants are harder than ever to avoid. But we do have one particular tool under our belts and that is our breath!
Kundalini Breathwork
The practice of Kundalini Breathwork - a synthesis of kundalini kriyas and yogic pranayama - is an internal practice that changes the frequency of the biofield and balances our chakras.
Introducing the chakra series! Each month, there will be a workshop focusing on each chakra.
